The images above are for a children's toys and books retail store. The store focused in on exploration, a concept that is fascinating to the mind of a child. With this in mind, the concept was derived from space, a piece of the world which has not fully been explored yet. In implementing this, the entire design became about 'gravity loss', inverting the entire store so that the books were placed on the ceiling, and the furniture resembled what is typically above eye level.

Within this, there were also explosion (lift-off) lofts, and a planet inspired look-up hub for the children to enjoy.
